Anthony Bay is Europe

From Rome to Florence through Umbria and Tuscany

This lovely route takes you through the gently rolling, green countryside which forms the very heart of Italy, indulging in all that’s best of the land, its history and its traditions.

Amongst highlights on this rich and rewarding trip are a private stay with a Princess in her medieval castle set in a land of almond orchards and lakes;  Orvieto, perched atop a 1,000 foot cliff and with its 3,000 year old underground Etruscan city; Assisi, where a monk privately takes you around the burial chapel of St Francis;  overnight deep in the countryside in a hotel that was originally a Roman villa ; beautiful medieval Cortona, setting for “Under The Tuscan Sun”; “mystical” Siena with its wondrous old town and its surrounding countryside of farmhouses, monasteries and a “perfect town” built by a Pope; lunch on one of the prettiest terraces in Tuscany, and a private tasting of famous Chianti wine.
